| dono if this has been posted or not but.... you suck my battle ship....
this was posted on another form so instead of writing it il just copy paste, i have heard it other places aswell
So in a shock move apparently IW will not have player run dedicated servers in COD MW 2.
Instead a matchmaking service called IWnet will be used.
This is IMO totally unacceptable and the only reason I would have purchased COD MW 2 was for the multiplayer. Now i have no reason to buy the title in which the developers have just crippled themselves.
This means no addon maps and mods. No dedicated hardcore servers for clan matchups etc.
This is absolutely ridiculous and I for one am not happy. To think i have 3 copies pre ordered for all the machines in the house (3 separate people playing at once online)
The campaign alone does not signify the purchase cost as it was always about the online experience in COD MW. What they have done is destroyed what would have been a top seller on the PC.
It is apparent from reading information across the net I am not the only pc user who will no longer be buying this title until reviews and thoughts on the actual IWnet implementation are released. | |

| basically, theres going to be no dedicated severs, everythink is going to be run by the people making the game, and u wont be able to select the server...
u press join game, and it finds a game for u with players around your rank, and shoves u into it | |
